Emergency services in Moscow are battling a large fire at a production hangar in the southeast of the capital, covering an area of approximately 1,000 square metres. The blaze broke out on Avtomobilny Proezd, at building 10, structure 14, according to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) for Moscow.
Firefighting units arrived to find the hangar engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading across the entire structure. Around 20 personnel and five pieces of equipment have been deployed to extinguish the fire. The MChS reported that no injuries have been recorded so far.
The incident occurred late Friday night, with operations continuing into the early hours of Saturday. Authorities have not yet stated the cause of the fire or the extent of material damage. The hangar is located in an industrial area, and nearby buildings have been monitored for potential spread.
