Giovanni Malagò has secured the required quorum to stand as the Serie A candidate for the presidency of the Federazione Calcio. According to LaPresse, the commissioner received 11 signatures from the 20 clubs in Italy’s top division, meeting the threshold for nomination ahead of the federation’s assembly scheduled for 14 December. Malagò will face Adriano Galliani, who has been nominated by the Assocalciatori (Aic) and the Assoallenatori (Aiac).
