Honduran Congressional President Expresses Support for Reestablishing Diplomatic Ties with Taiwan
Tomás Zambrano, President of the National Congress of Honduras, stated on Monday that he would be the first to congratulate the Executive Branch if Honduras were to reestablish diplomatic relations with Taiwan. This statement comes after a motion was introduced to investigate the income of Chinese individuals in the country. Zambrano expressed his willingness to support the Executive Branch in reestablishing ties with Taiwan, saying he would felicitate them if such a decision were made.
