Pooh Shiesty, Big30 Among Nine Charged in Alleged Kidnapping and Robbery of Gucci Mane
Federal prosecutors in Texas say rapper Pooh Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr., and rapper Big30, Rodney Wright Jr., are among nine men charged in connection with an alleged armed kidnapping and robbery at a Dallas recording studio. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, the incident happened on January 10 during what was supposed to be a business meeting involving a recording contract.

Authorities allege that three music industry professionals traveled to Dallas for the meeting, which prosecutors say was arranged by Williams Jr. Once inside the studio, investigators say Williams Jr. and the others carried out a coordinated armed takeover. Prosecutors allege one victim was forced at gunpoint to sign a release from a recording contract, while the other victims were robbed of Rolex watches, jewelry, cash, and other valuables.
