The detained individuals are affiliated with the Retrench Farmers Association and claim to have been farming on the 70-acre plot situated between the Solomon Hochoy Highway and the M2 Ring Road for more than three decades. The farmers grow a variety of crops, including sweet potatoes, corn, and citrus.
