Farmer questions sick pigs following alleged livestock payment dispute

A livestock dispute is gaining attention online after a farmer alleged that pigs he supplied to a woman were not paid for as expected. The farmer shared his account with Dale, host of Straight to the Point, claiming the woman took possession of five pigs and repeatedly promised that payment would be made. According to the farmer, he was later told that some of the animals had become sick. He questioned why it allegedly took several months for him to be informed that there was a problem with the pigs. The farmer said he was told there were veterinary receipts relating to the sick animals and asked for the documents to be provided. He claimed he has still not received those receipts. The situation reportedly developed further when the farmer’s wife contacted the woman and asked how many of the pigs had died. According to the farmer, she was told that two pigs had died. His wife then reportedly suggested that the remaining three pigs be returned, but the farmer claimed the animals were not returned. He alleged that the woman instead indicated that the remaining pigs would be slaughtered, the meat sold and money provided from the sale. The farmer maintains that he has not received the payment he expected from the original livestock transaction. The matter has since attracted attention following the Straight to the Point report, with people discussing the allegations online.
