The Autoridad de Carreteras y Transportación (ACT) announced that road improvement and repaving work on Puerto Rico Highway 3 (PR‑3) in Fajardo will remain in progress until November 30, 2026. During the construction period, temporary lane closures and partial intersection blockages will be in effect Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The ACT urged motorists to use navigation apps such as Waze to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes. Drivers are also advised to reduce speed, follow the posted warning signs, and exercise caution to ensure the safety of the crews working on the roadway.
