Honduran lawmaker Rashid Mejía, a member of the Liberal Party, has called for the removal of Foreign Minister Mireya Agüero following the cancellation of the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for thousands of Honduran citizens residing in the United States.
Mejía criticized the performance of the Foreign Ministry, alleging that Agüero failed to demonstrate sufficient urgency or effectiveness in addressing the decision made by the United States government regarding the program.
