Fans of Sunderland’s supporters group attacked the Bad Blue Boys with beer bottles, prompting a swift police response that prevented a larger clash between the two fan groups. The incident occurred as Sunderland supporters threw bottles at the Bad Blue Boys while Dinamo supporters were moving toward the stadium in an organized march. Tensions escalated when a confrontation began between English fans and the Bad Blue Boys, but police intervention stopped the situation from escalating into a serious incident. The clash comes amid a turbulent period for Dinamo, who recently suffered a defeat to Rudeš. The loss was attributed to the departure of coach Marij Kovačević, and the team is currently under the temporary management of Jerko Leko. Leko’s appointment is expected to last until the next representative break, and the match against Sunderland will be his first major test in charge.
