Emergency Convoy: Trucks Carry Supplies Under Escort on Ruta 5 Norte

The National Confederation of Truck Owners of Chile (CNDC) has launched an emergency road operation on Ruta 5 Norte to clear climate-stricken traffic and ensure supplies reach the northern regions of Atacama and Coquimbo. Escorted convoys are now moving cargo vehicles that had been stranded by severe weather conditions. The strategy prioritizes essential goods to prevent shortages in the affected areas. Authorities are coordinating with truckers to maintain the flow of food, fuel, and other critical supplies.
