A horse-drawn carriage accident occurred during a harvest parade in Kiskunfélegyháza on September 19, 2026, resulting in multiple injuries. According to reports, two horses pulling a carriage became agitated and bolted, striking several bystanders as they ran through the street.
The incident concluded when the carriage collided with a tree. Emergency services transported four women to the hospital for treatment, two of whom sustained serious injuries. Following the accident, organizers canceled the remainder of the event.
Local authorities have launched a criminal investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Video footage of the event shows the horses moving at high speed through the parade route before the collision occurred.
