Elderly Man Suspected Killed, Human Remains Found in Valencia

A routine check on an elderly man in Valencia took a grim turn on March 27th, 2026. Two women, who arrived at the Alexis Circular, Plantation Road residence, found the back door wide open and a blood trail leading into the home. Their calls to the 82-year-old occupant went unanswered.

Inside, a horrifying sight awaited them — a pile of clothing atop a large pool of blood in the dining area. The unsettling discovery prompted an immediate call to the Valencia Police Post. Officers responding to the scene confirmed the women’s observations.

The mystery deepened when a search of the vicinity revealed a burned patch of ground about 40 feet west of the building. The charred area contained materials resembling melted wire and what appeared to be human skeletal remains. Investigators are working under the suspicion that these remains may belong to the missing homeowner.

The District Medical Officer ordered the removal of the remains for further forensic analysis to confirm identity and cause of death. Specialized units, including the Homicide Bureau and Scene of Crime officers, processed the scene and collected items of potential evidentiary value.

Police investigations are ongoing as officers strive to unravel the circumstances surrounding this suspected killing. The remains have been transported under police escort to a funeral facility, awaiting further examination.
