President Luis Abinader returned to the Dominican Republic after a trip to Madrid, Spain, and resumed his official duties at the National Palace. The president announced his schedule for Sunday, outlining a series of public engagements across the country. At 11:00 a.m. the president will be in the El Almirante sector of Santo Domingo Este, where he will hand out property titles to families in the community. The ceremony is part of a broader effort to streamline land ownership processes. Following the title distribution, Abinader will travel to the province of Monseñor Nouel. There he will inaugurate the new Government Offices building, named after Juan Pablo Duarte, which will house several state agencies to improve access to public services for residents. While in Monseñor Nouel, the president will also open the Escuela Básica Profesora Jaqueline Lima in the Prosperidad sector, a new elementary school built under the government’s school construction and expansion program. The president’s itinerary will conclude in Villa Altagracia, in the province of San Cristóbal. He will preside over the opening of the Escuela Básica Eurania Montás, a new school intended to increase educational capacity in the area. These events mark Abinader’s return to domestic commitments after a series of official activities in Madrid, where he represented the Dominican Republic in various diplomatic and cultural engagements.
