The Edo Government has announced strengthened support for stranded returnees through new rehabilitation, reintegration, and empowerment initiatives. Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Eugenia Abdallah, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Benin. Abdallah stated that the ministry is intensifying efforts to help returnees rebuild their lives after difficult journeys. The programmes aim to provide both immediate relief and long-term economic opportunities for those returning to Nigeria.
