**East Bengal FC Drawn into Group B for 2026-27 AFC Women’s Champions League**

**KUALA LUMPUR** – East Bengal FC has been drawn into Group B for the 2026-27 AFC Women’s Champions League following an official draw held at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur.

The Indian Women’s League champions will compete against Hwacheon KSPO WFC (South Korea), Ho Chi Minh City WFC (Vietnam), and 4.25 SC (North Korea).

Kolkata is set to host the Group B matches from November 1 to 7, marking the first time the AFC Women’s Champions League has been held in India, according to the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

East Bengal FC qualified for the group stage for the second consecutive year after finishing first in Group A of the preliminary stage in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The team is now aiming to reach the quarter-finals for the first time.

The tournament features 12 teams divided into three groups of four. The top teams from each group, the three runners-up, and the two best-ranked third-placed teams will advance to the knockout stage. Quarter-final matchups are scheduled to be determined by a separate draw in December 2026, with matches slated for March 2027.
