MultiChoice Ghana announced on Monday, October 26 that it will launch four new DStv subscription packages on November 5, 2026. The announcement was made at a joint press briefing hosted by the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation and MultiChoice Ghana. The new packages are designed to give subscribers more affordable and flexible viewing options. Prices will range from GH¢50 to GH¢570 per month, depending on the level of channel access and sports coverage. Starter Pack – GH¢50 per month – includes 90 television channels and is the most basic option. Select Pack – GH¢100 per month – offers 123 channels, providing a broader range of entertainment and programmes. Sports Pack – GH¢250 per month – adds football coverage to the channels available in the Starter and Select packages. Ultimate Pack – GH¢570 per month – combines premium sports coverage with a wider selection of entertainment content. Alex Okyere, Country Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Ghana, said the new structure would allow customers to choose a package that matches their entertainment preferences and budget. He added that the changes aim to increase flexibility for subscribers. The revised subscription structure will become effective on November 5, 2026, at which point customers can select from the four new packages.
