Drake Apologizes to Women Named Janice with Exclusive Party

Drake Hosts Exclusive Parties to Apologize to Women Named Janice

Canadian rapper has taken an unusual approach to making amends after his song “Janice STFU” sparked backlash from women who share the name.

To address the criticism, a series of invitation-only events was organized in several major cities, including Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Houston. The gatherings were exclusively for women named Janice, who were required to RSVP in advance and present valid identification confirming their first name before being admitted.

Although Drake did not attend the events personally, guests were treated to complimentary food, cash giveaways and the opportunity to meet and socialize with fellow Janices in a lighthearted setting. One of the venues reportedly used for the events was the Cactus Club.

The unique campaign has generated widespread discussion online, with many praising the creativity behind the gesture while others questioned whether it was enough to address the controversy surrounding the song.

The events also highlight the significant influence celebrities have on public perception and demonstrate how unconventional fan engagement can quickly become a viral talking point.
