Slovenian ski jumper Domen Prevc secured a third-place finish at the Continental Cup event in Stams, Austria. This result marks his first podium appearance of the summer season.
Prevc, who competed in two events in Stams, finished behind Austrian athletes Clemens Aigner and Raffael Zimmermann. Aigner claimed victory with a total of 264.2 points, while Zimmermann followed with 262.9 points. Prevc earned 251.3 points to secure the third position.
During the first competition on Saturday, Prevc placed 17th after a challenging first round, despite setting a hill record in the second round. His performance in the second event was more consistent, maintaining his position on the podium after recording the third-best score in the opening round.
Other Slovenian competitors faced varying results. Rok Masle finished in 27th place, while Jaka Kramer was disqualified during the second round, resulting in a 30th-place finish. Urban Simnic, Zak Mogel, and Mai Zakelsek did not score points in the event.
In the women’s competition held earlier in the day, Nika Vodan finished in second place, and Nika Prevc took third place.
