**El Salvador – Teachers’ union calls on ministry to implement salary‑review provisions**
The Association of Teachers of El Salvador (Asociación de Docentes de El Salvador, ADES) has formally requested that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MINDEDUCYT) fulfill obligations established in the country’s Teacher Career Law (Ley de la Carrera Docente).
In a communiqué released by ADES, the organization urged the ministry to address several pending issues affecting the teaching profession, including:
* The salary review mandated by the Teacher Career Law.
* The process of teacher transfers.
* Working conditions within public schools.
* Access to health services for educators.
The union indicated that these matters are critical for the welfare of the magisterium and called for prompt action from the ministry.
