Diego Martin Man Charged for Threatening Senator Browne

A man from Diego Martin has been officially charged on multiple counts, following an investigation into threats directed at Senator Dr. Amery Browne via social media. The 48-year-old man is facing three charges of threats to kill and four charges for misuse of an electronic device. The threats, discovered on November 19, 2025, were posted on the Senator’s personal Facebook page. The comments contained threats to kill the senator and his children. The accused, who had no prior connection with the senator, later surrendered himself at the West End Police Station. The case was handled by W/Cpl Cobb of the Criminal Investigations Department (Area East).
