Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has hailed Muay Thai champion Ahmad Nor Iman Aliff Rakib as a national inspiration after he became the first Malaysian to win a ONE Championship world title.
In a statement today, Ahmad Zahid described the achievement as historic and a source of pride for the country. He congratulated Aliff for his dedication and perseverance in reaching the pinnacle of the sport.
The Deputy Prime Minister also urged Malaysian youth to draw inspiration from Aliff’s journey, encouraging them to be brave in pursuing their dreams regardless of the challenges.
