Denise Belfon, Featured on Drake Project, Laments Lack of Congratulations from Caribbean Industry

Denise Belfon, a well-known Caribbean artist, recently reached a significant milestone in her career by being featured on a project with global superstar Drake. However, the response from the Caribbean entertainment industry was not as expected, with many remaining surprisingly silent on her achievement.

Belfon expressed her pride in representing Caribbean culture on such a major international platform, describing Drake as the number one artist in the world. She noted that unlike previous industry experiences, this collaboration involved proper legal and business arrangements, thanks to her team members Fabian Alfonso, Nasty Harkness Tate, Jack Russell Music, and Mary Collier.

In addition to expressing gratitude to Drake, OVO, and their team for making the collaboration possible, Belfon voiced her hope that this moment could lead to larger international opportunities. However, she also revealed her disappointment at the lack of acknowledgment from her industry peers.

Beyond her fans, close family, and immediate team, very few people personally congratulated her on this significant achievement. The only person from the industry to reach out directly was Dexter, manager of Patrice Roberts.
