**Delcy Rodríguez signs agreement to restore public zoos in Venezuela**
*Caracas, Venezuela* – Venezuelan Minister of Ecosocialism (Environment) Delcy Rodríguez signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Vantara, a global initiative led by the Ambani family of India, to recover and improve public zoos across the country.
The MoU, signed in Caracas, outlines a partnership that will see the construction of a new hospital and a wildlife conservation center, as well as the development of additional facilities aimed at protecting animals and revitalizing Venezuela’s zoo infrastructure. The agreement was formally signed by Rodríguez, who represents the Ministry of Ecosocialism.
Vantara, described as a global initiative of the Ambani family, will collaborate with Venezuelan authorities to provide expertise, funding, and resources for the project. The partnership is intended to enhance animal welfare standards and support conservation efforts within the country’s public zoos.
