CORPORAL RENIS PHILLIP DROWNS AT THREE POOLS IN BLANCHISSEUSE
A 36-year-old member of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force has died following a drowning incident at Three Pools in Blanchisseuse.
The deceased has been identified as Corporal Renis Phillip, who was reportedly from Point Fortin and served with the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force.
Phillip reportedly drowned while at the popular Three Pools recreational area on Thursday, September 17.
Details surrounding the circumstances leading to the incident remain limited, including what occurred immediately before Phillip entered difficulty in the water.
Three Pools is a natural attraction in the Blanchisseuse area along Trinidad’s North Coast and is frequented by hikers and visitors.
Information available following the incident identified Phillip as a corporal and placed his age at 36. Authorities are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.
