Daylight Acid Attack Shocks Rio Claro

In a shocking daylight incident, a 20-year-old woman was targeted in an acid attack outside Scotiabank in Rio Claro. The assault took place on Monday afternoon when an unidentified man approached the woman and threw a liquid on her face, causing intense burns. The victim was rushed to the Rio Claro Health Facility by a bystander and later transferred to the Sangre Grande Hospital for further medical assistance. The police have recovered a bottle of muriatic acid from the scene and are currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspect. Investigations are ongoing.
