Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago — After more than a decade in the public eye under the name Daniel Loveless, the creator of the popular street interview series What Yuh Know has announced a powerful transformation. He is turning a new page in his life, officially taking on the name Adonai Dieu.

A Journey Fueled by the Desire to Be Seen

From his school days, Loveless admitted he always wanted recognition. Surrounded by peers who spoke of vacations abroad, he longed for popularity, travel, and success. Social media became his stage — posting statuses and funny content to gain validation. The name “Loveless” came during this time, borrowed from a crew called Loveless Crew, as part of his effort to fit in.

That name, meant as a mask, carried him far. Under Daniel Loveless, he built a global following, became a photographer, and eventually created What Yuh Know, the viral brand known and loved across the Caribbean diaspora. Fame, wealth, travel, and material success followed — but inside, he said, there remained a quiet void.

Discovering Fulfillment in Faith

Despite his outward achievements, Loveless came to realize that true fulfillment was missing. Reflecting on his journey, he admitted that God had always been with him:

A period of self-reflection in Thailand further deepened his perspective. There, he realized he no longer wanted to fight for the world’s attention because he was already seen by God.

The Meaning of Adonai Dieu

This turning point inspired a complete rebirth of his identity. He legally relinquished the name Daniel Loveless and embraced Adonai Dieu, which translates to “My Lord God.”

“The purpose of changing my name is to embody who I am now,” he explained. “I want to give God His praise and thanks for walking me through every journey of my life.”

Along with the personal transformation comes a rebrand of his content. While What Yuh Know remains an important part of his story, the platform will now evolve into The Dieu Show, centered around faith, purpose, and authenticity.
