Curepe Man Shot Dead, Police Investigating

47-year-old Shawn Lezama from Curepe tragically lost his life in an incident that occurred yesterday morning. According to reports from his common-law wife, she was awoken by the sound of several gunshots around 5.30 am on February 11. Upon investigation, she found Lezama lying on the ground outside their residence on Mc Donald Street, Curepe. Alarmed, she and a neighbour quickly transported the injured Lezama to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, doctors at the medical facility pronounced him dead on arrival. The police are currently conducting ongoing investigations into the incident.
