Convers Bank hosted a “Your Green Step” event during the COP17 conference, drawing visitors who learned about the bank’s sustainability strategy, green calendar and sustainable financing solutions. At the event, attendees could add a leaf to an animated tree, symbolising a commitment to join the bank’s green calendar. The calendar is a core element of Convers Bank’s strategy, guiding both internal operations and the products offered to customers. The bank was among the first in Armenia to embed the principles of sustainable and responsible finance into its internal decision‑making processes, taking environmental and social factors into account. Its product portfolio includes energy‑efficient mortgage loans, financing for the acquisition and installation of energy‑efficient systems, electric vehicle purchases and battery storage solutions. Convers Bank is also expanding its digital services to make them more accessible and convenient for customers. The use of digital tools is intended to reduce paper consumption and other resource use. Sustainability principles extend beyond customer offerings to internal processes, covering environmental and social risk assessment and responsible resource management. Participation in COP17 allowed the bank to present its sustainability initiatives and to engage with experts and international partners. Bank representatives took part in panel discussions and thematic meetings, gaining insights into emerging approaches to nature conservation and sustainable finance. The experience gained at COP17 will be used to refine existing solutions, explore new collaboration opportunities and further develop sustainable finance and digital services that meet customer needs. Convers Bank is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
