Controversial Artiste Kman Seeks Image Overhaul, Deletes ‘Black Rain’ From YouTube

In a bold move, controversial artiste, Kman, recently announced his intention to delete the ‘Black Rain’ video from his YouTube Channel. The video, released three years ago, has since garnered a staggering 5.6 million views and was instrumental in escalating tensions between the six and seven gangs. This decision forms part of Kman’s ongoing attempts to rebrand and reposition himself in the entertainment industry.

Last week, Kman appealed to the authorities, seeking permission to travel and perform in other Caribbean countries where he has previously been banned. In his appeal, he highlighted his personal growth and maturity, stating that he has taken a new direction. Aligning with this new direction, he publicly removed ‘Sixx’ from his name, a step towards distancing himself from his controversial past.

The removal of ‘Black Rain’ from his YouTube channel is seen as another effort by Kman, whose real name is Kashif Sankar, to normalize his image within Trinidad and Tobago’s entertainment world. Despite having a modest subscriber count of 151,000, his channel has amassed an impressive 63 million views.

This series of actions marks a significant shift in Kman’s career, as he seeks to navigate the often tumultuous waters of the entertainment industry, while dealing with the repercussions of his past actions.
