A Community Christmas in July event was hosted by the Australia-Filipino Community Services (AFCS) on July 29. The inaugural event, held at Menzies Hall in Dandenong North, drew over 300 attendees from across Victoria.
Seniors and their carers from Geelong and Ballarat were among those who braved the cold weather to participate in the celebration. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to socialize, reminisce, and connect with one another.
According to reports, the event was well-attended, with many traveling from various parts of the state to join in the festivities. The Australia-Filipino Community Services organized the event, which aimed to bring the community together in a festive atmosphere.
