A Community Christmas in July event was hosted by the Australia-Filipino Community Services (AFCS) on July 29. The inaugural event, held at Menzies Hall in Dandenong North, drew over 300 attendees from across Victoria.
Seniors and their carers from Geelong and Ballarat were among those in attendance. The event aimed to bring people together for a festive celebration in the middle of the year. According to reports, many attendees traveled from various parts of the state to participate in the event.
