Last week’s incident where a couple was shot at by police, resulting in the driver’s death and the female passenger’s hospitalization, has sparked public commentary. The incident was captured in a video circulating on social media, showing the last 15 seconds of a 12-minute pursuit. Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro, after reviewing the case, announced he won’t suspend or place the officers on administrative leave. Instead, he recommends counselling for the officers. Additionally, two investigations have been initiated, one of which is by the Police Complaints Authority.
