Columbia University has introduced a new minor in Armenian Studies, expanding the academic offerings within the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies (MESAAS).
The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of Armenian history, languages, literature, art, and culture. University officials noted that the launch of the minor builds upon a long-standing history of Armenian studies at the institution.
