**Government Pledges Infrastructure Upgrades for Chinese Road Residents**
**REGION 10, Guyana** — During a Cabinet outreach held on Wednesday, government officials pledged a series of infrastructure improvements for residents of Chinese Road.
The initiative, led by President Dr. Irfaan Ali, involved ministers and government officials meeting with community members to address local needs. Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar, and other officials were present to assess the area’s requirements.
Minister of Public Works, Deodat Indar, committed to several development projects aimed at improving the quality of life for the growing community. The pledged upgrades include the construction of new roads, the installation of solar-powered street lighting, and improvements to the local water supply system.
The outreach is part of an ongoing government effort to engage directly with citizens across Guyana’s regions to identify and address infrastructure and service gaps.
