Child Violently Robbed in San Fernando Playground

A disturbing incident in Olera Heights, San Fernando, has drawn the attention of local law enforcement. A nine-year-old boy was the victim of a violent robbery while he was playing in a playground late in the evening on September 5th, 2025. The child was approached by a man of mixed descent who had notable physical characteristics such as a slim build, brown complexion, a moustache, short hairstyle, and a scorpion tattoo on his chest. The suspect assaulted the boy, demanded his Samsung A21 cellphone, which is worth $1,100 TT, and then fled the scene on foot. The case is currently under investigation by PC Roberts of the Mon Repos CID.
