Police are investigating the death of a seven-year-old boy following an alleged drowning incident in Alice Town, Bimini.
Authorities received reports that the child had fallen into a well. When officers arrived, they found an adult performing CPR on the unresponsive child.
The boy was rushed to a local clinic where medical personnel continued life-saving efforts. However, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
