Police in Cunupia, Trinidad and Tobago, are currently investigating a wounding incident that occurred late Friday night, September 26th, in Charlieville. The incident involved 41-year-old Rabindra Jaggernauth, a straightener and painter residing at Akaloo Trace East, who was reportedly injured by his brother during an argument. According to the police, the dispute between Rabindra and his brother, Nandra Jaggernauth, escalated around 11:30 p.m., leading to Nandra arming himself with a cutlass. Nandra allegedly struck his brother on the right upper arm before retreating to his room and locking himself inside. Emergency Health Services personnel were called to the scene and transported Rabindra to the Chaguanas Health Facility. He was treated for an 8cm x 4cm deep wound to his right upper arm, which involved muscle damage. Rabindra remains under medical observation. Police officers, including WPC Joseph, PC Tannis, PC Jaikaran, and PC Wharwood, visited the scene of the incident. Nandra Jaggernauth was later apprehended by police in connection with the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
