Central Transit Shed Drug Seizure

In a significant drug bust, customs and police officers have uncovered a substantial stash of meth and marijuana in a Central transit shed, valued at a combined total of $2.8 million. According to a statement from Customs, the meth weighed 0.52 kilogrammes, carrying a street value of approximately $1.3 million. Additionally, the officers seized 5.86 kilogrammes of marijuana, which has an estimated street value of $1.5 million. The operation took place on Monday, though Customs has not disclosed the specific location of the transit shed in Central. This discovery highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
