Cementos Progreso reconoce a 86 colaboradores con trayectorias de hasta 45 años

Cementos Progreso, a leading cement producer in the Dominican Republic, announced that it has honored 86 employees for their long‑term service under its “Trayectoria” recognition program. The program celebrates employees who have reached five‑year milestones and those whose careers span more than four decades. Among the honorees is a worker who has served the company for 45 years, the longest tenure in the organization’s history. The recognition highlights the company’s emphasis on employee retention and the value it places on experience and loyalty. Enrique García, executive vice president of Cementos Progreso’s Caribbean region, said, “The true value of our organization lies in the people who have made our growth possible over time. Behind each of our achievements are individuals who have dedicated years of effort, talent, and commitment. Recognizing their trajectories honors our history and looks to the future with confidence that we have a team that shares our values and purpose.” The 86 employees represent various stages of the company’s evolution. Seventy percent of those honored work at the San Pedro plant, underscoring the facility’s role in the company’s development. Overall, 40 percent of Cementos Progreso’s Dominican workforce has ten or more years of service, and 17 percent have more than twenty years with the company. Cementos Progreso frames this initiative as part of its broader goal to become a preferred employer. The company stresses a culture that prioritizes people, with recognition, talent development, continuous learning, and career advancement as key components of employee engagement.
