The Commercial Bank of Maldives (CBM) has officially introduced Visa debit and credit cards, enabling customers to access their funds at ATMs and point-of-sale terminals both locally and internationally. The new cards are available in both Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) and US dollar (USD) denominations, offering flexibility for everyday spending and travel. As a temporary measure, specific conditions apply for MVR-denominated cards. This move positions CBM among the growing list of banks in the Maldives expanding digital payment options for consumers.
