The incident unfolded around 8:25 p.m., leading to significant injuries for both parties involved. A 25-year-old woman from Laventille Road was engaged in a game when she clashed with a 34-year-old from Upper Wharton Street, Laventille. Reports indicate a heated exchange prompted one woman to pull a knife, while the other responded by grabbing a bottle to defend herself. In the ensuing struggle, one woman was stabbed in the leg, and the other was struck on the head. Both women were injured, with one requiring treatment at the Port of Spain General Hospital, while the other was taken to the Central Police Station with minor injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the incident further.
