Caribbean Airlines Moves All Tobago Flights to New East Terminal From October 14

Caribbean Airlines (CAL) will transfer all its Tobago operations to the new East Terminal at ANR Robinson International Airport from 5:45 a.m. on October 14, requiring passengers arriving in or departing from Tobago to use the new facility on Store Bay Local Road.

The move covers all Caribbean Airlines flights serving Tobago, including domestic services between Tobago and Trinidad. The airline has advised passengers departing Tobago to proceed directly to the new terminal for check-in and departure. Travellers arriving in Tobago will also be directed to the new facility.

The relocation includes the airline’s reservations and ticketing services. According to Caribbean Airlines, its desk at the new terminal will operate daily from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., providing passengers with access to those services throughout the day.

Alongside the terminal change, passengers departing Tobago will face centralised security screening requirements for liquids in hand luggage. The rules apply to domestic passengers travelling between the two islands, meaning travellers on the Tobago–Trinidad route must also prepare their carry-on items to meet the requirements.

Under the airline’s stated 3-1-1 rule, each liquid container must have a capacity of no more than 100 millilitres. All containers must fit inside one clear, resealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity of one litre, and each passenger is allowed one such bag.

Passengers should therefore check their hand luggage before leaving for the airport, ensuring that liquid containers meet the size limit and fit within the permitted bag. Preparing in advance can help travellers avoid complications at security screening as the new arrangements take effect.

Caribbean Airlines has asked customers to prepare their hand luggage accordingly and thanked passengers for their cooperation during the transition. Travellers using the airline’s Tobago services from October 14 should make the new East Terminal their destination and allow time to complete check-in and security procedures.

The terminal transfer marks a change in where Caribbean Airlines passengers access flights and related services in Tobago. With the new location and liquid-screening requirements taking effect together, passengers should confirm their travel arrangements and ensure their carry-on liquids comply before arriving at the airport.
