Canadian High Commissioner visits proposed Gomoa Special Economic Zone Site

H.E. Myriam Montrat, the Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana, visited the proposed site of the Gomoa Special Economic Zone in the western part of the country.

The visit was reported by Kwame Asare Obeng, the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, who is also known by the nickname “A Plus.” Mr. Obeng said the High Commissioner’s trip followed an earlier meeting at the Canadian High Commission in Accra.

Details of the proposed Gomoa Special Economic Zone, including its exact boundaries and planned industrial activities, have not yet been finalized by Ghanaian authorities.
