**Toronto Dragon Festival Highlights Traditional Chinese Performing Arts**
**TORONTO** – The annual Toronto Dragon Festival took place at Nathan Phillips Square this past weekend, featuring a variety of traditional Chinese performing arts and cultural activities.
The event, which ran from Friday through Sunday, was hosted by the Canadian Association of Chinese Performing Arts (CACPA). Among the performances presented during the festival was the traditional Yingge dance, which was showcased on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2026.
Organizers stated that the festival is intended to promote traditional Chinese culture through public performances and related community activities.
