Calypso Community Mourns Loss of Respected Figure, StageAnn Mason

The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO) is grieving over the unexpected death of Ms. StageAnn Mason, a cherished and esteemed member of the calypso community. Mason was lastly the Chairman of TUCO’s Adjudication Review Committee and was widely praised for her dedication, professionalism, and dependability. She was the daughter and manager of the late Winston “Explainer” Henry, a legendary voice in calypso, and she continued his legacy with pride and dedication. TUCO regarded her as a strong supporter of the culture and the organisation. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and consistent presence will be profoundly missed by all her colleagues. Mason was born on June 14, 1972, and passed away on August 11, 2025. TUCO sends its condolences to her family, friends, and the wider cultural community, wishing her eternal peace.
