Google has announced an expansion of its global network infrastructure in the region with three new submarine cable systems. The new systems will connect Chile with the United States and the Caribbean. One of these cables will specifically connect Chile with Panama, according to the company based in Mountain View. The move is part of the tech firm’s efforts to enhance its global network capabilities.
