Businessman Adrian Brown Charged with Stolen Vehicle Possession, Granted $75,000 Bail

Adrian Brown, a 32-year-old businessman, has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. He was granted bail in the sum of $75,000 with a surety during a court appearance before Master Tracey Vidale. As part of his bail conditions, Brown must reside at his home and report to a designated police station three times a week. The case is set to continue in the Chaguanas Magistrates’ Court on August 14th, 2026.

The charges against Brown stem from a detailed investigation by the Stolen Vehicles Squad into a silver Nissan AD Wagon. This vehicle was seized at the Licensing Authority in Caroni on May 9th, 2024, after officers discovered tampering with its chassis and engine numbers. Further investigations revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen in the Western Division on April 16th, 2024.

The investigation, led by Senior Superintendent Pariman and Superintendent De Mattos, involved collaboration with the Licensing Authority. It concluded with the arrest of Brown on August 4th, 2026.
