Brutal Home Invasion Rattles Phoenix Park Residents

Residents of Phoenix Park in Couva, California, were left in shock after a brutal home invasion by three armed men. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, after the occupants had secured their home for the night. Awakened by loud voices around 1 a.m., they found themselves face-to-face with the intruders demanding money. The assailants tied up the victims, assaulting one resident and ransacking the house for valuables. They made off with cash, cellphones, jewellery and identification documents. Their getaway vehicle was a resident’s Orange Suzuki Swift. The police report indicates the intruders gained access through a ground-level side door.
