Brotherly Betrayal Unfolds

In a shocking incident in the Upper Fort George area, 40-year-old Jamal Fortune was shot by his brother during a confrontation. The altercation occurred around 8:10 PM when Fortune was near a local shop. According to reports, the suspect, armed with a gun, approached his brother and pointed the weapon at him. A struggle broke out, resulting in the gun discharging and striking Fortune in the left shoulder. He was quickly transported to the St James Medical Infirmary for initial treatment before being transferred to the Port of Spain General Hospital for further care. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and the relationship between the siblings.
