**PATTAYA, Thailand** – A 70-year-old British man was transported to a local hospital with facial injuries following a physical altercation on Jomtien Beach on Thursday afternoon.
Pattaya police and rescue personnel responded to the scene near Jomtien Soi 10 after receiving reports of a confrontation. Upon arrival, authorities detained a 28-year-old Thai man in connection with the incident.
Preliminary investigations suggest the dispute may have stemmed from a disagreement regarding a missing motorcycle. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the altercation and have taken the 28-year-old suspect into custody for questioning.
